When Dinosaurs ruled the Earth...

Finally, I've got time to post Dino pics from the show. Mason got tickets to "Walking with the Dinosars:LIVE" for his birthday. This show was AMAZING!! It's from the BBC channel, and this show was near the end of their worldwide tour...we will definitely go again if it comes back. Mason was SOOOOO excited to go and once the show started he sat on the edge of his seat and didn't make a sound. I was afraid that he might be terrified of those 'life-size' dinos, after all we were on like the 4th row. But the only sound he made was when he cried at intermission and at the end of the show...because he wanted to see more!! This show had simple, but amazing affects, every new dinosaur that came out would give me chills...anyways, here ya go...

Sunny Day...Sweepin' the Clouds Away...

Yep...we went to see Sesame Street!! Mason gets his little dose of education in the morning...just like his momma used to! He's not really 'in love' with the whole Sesame Street thing, after all he's a Dinosaur Man, remember :) But the gang came to Tyler so we decided to make it a family trip and went with my little cousin Ella Mae and her parents (I say little cause she is a whole 28 years younger!). We made a day of it and had lunch at El Charro's and then headed to the show. Mason really enjoyed it...way more than I thought he would. He was happy to leave with a $4 sno-cone and a new T-shirt, of course he brought he own little Grover with him. He may not 'love' Sesame Street, but he does LOVE him some Grover!!


Chris wasn't this excited through the whole show...but he was thrilled to know there was only 3 songs left...haha!!

Dino-mite Birthday!!

WOW...I'm so far behind in my blog!! I just realized that I hadn't even put in Mason's 3rd birthday! I can't believe he's already THREE! The time has flown by...starting with my water breaking on 10/8/06 at ~6am and me going to work at the zoo anyways!! Hey, it was closer to the hospital, so hush! I wanted to eat my doughnut and get my Dr.Pepper in before it was too late!! Everyone at the zoo thought I was looney...Judson drove me to the hospital because they thought I couldn't make the 1 mile drive there...little did they know Mason wouldn't be born until freakin' midnight- so I was in labor ALLLLLLL day long-uggh! I wouldn't regret a single minute though, he definitely taught me a little patience along the way...which is hard to do when you have a Williams' temper :) Anyways- I could talk about Mason and his first three years forever!!

I just know that we are blessed to have such a wonderful loving son who has the sweetest heart and he loves everyone! He is always in good spirits and he is SO smart! He's a puzzle genius and can do 100+ puzzles in no time (with no help), he is already a gamer and can hang with Uncle Mase and his daddy when it comes to Mario! Mason is currently obsessed with all things dinosaur and Jurassic Park...he knows all the names of the dinos and can tell you what they eat and who they fight, he already knows more about them then I ever did (and remember I was a science major, with quite a bit of evolutionary study!) Alright, enough of him for now...he's needing me to fight with him on Smash Bros. on the Wii! Enjoy the pics from his party...

Superbowl Champs 2009

Just wanted to add that I'm PROUD of my nephew Collin!! This was his first year to play "real" football. The Mini-Bears were undefeated this year!! How awesome is that! So here's some pics from the Super-Bowl game...they played in Gilmer and whooped some White-Oak booty!

Collin was chosen for the "all-star" team and just played this weekend. They didn't have much luck there, but the boys had fun and that's all that matters.

Party Time!!

So we went to Pump It Up, Jr. the other day for Bryce and MaKenna's birthday party. It's been about a year since we last went there to play and this time Mason was really into it!! He was just excited to go to any party but when he realized that HE was gonna get to play too, he became super-excited! Anyways, just a few pics to share...didn't take any of the actual party (just picture lots of Barbies and Cars). We talked about having Mason's party there this year too...but it's like $200 and knowing me I'd still buy all the decorations, plates, cake, etc. even though they provide it for us! So I think it'd be cheaper to have it at the house again this year, especially since it'll just be familiy...but he's happy about everyone coming over to his "big" house anyways!

Playin' Catch Up!!

Wow! It's been a while since I've posted, things have just been so busy. We've moved into our new house and sold the old one...we've been to Destin and back...and I've been back in school for 3 weeks now! I'll get to the house later, I'll start with vacation.

The whole family went to Destin Aug.8th-15th. It's a family tradition and we've gone every year since I was like 5 years old- well, we didn't go last year due to my change of career! But we've always stayed in the same place until our last trip...our family had gotten to big and now we needed a bigger condo. We now have a 3 bedroom (2 story) spot we really like...and all 9 of us stayed together (Mom, Dad, Mase & his girlfriend Candace, Collin, Kaleb and us 3). I was dreading the trip due to the three boys getting together for an extended length of time...I even brought the Valium, but didn't have to take even one! The boys were EXCELLENT!! We just went to the beach and pool all day long and hung out in the room at night. Of course, I did go to the outlet mall 3 nights!! Anyways...here's some pics of the beach and the fun we had!!


By the 3rd day Mason had shown a reaction to the sunscreen and was getting a rash...so Mom and I took him to the Gulfarium instead of spending the day ou on the beach. We had fun but it was SO hot that his rash was alot worse...but he still had fun. After some cortisone and the new sunscreen he was fine, he wasn't going to let an itchy rash keep him from the water!


The last night just the 3 of us went out for our on special "family-time". We went to Joe's Crab Shack and Mason loved it! We weren't really going for the food because we knew there were better places, but we thought he would like the excitement that came with Joe's. We were right...he loved the decor and the music! He even got up and danced the YMCA :)
