When Dinosaurs ruled the Earth...

Finally, I've got time to post Dino pics from the show. Mason got tickets to "Walking with the Dinosars:LIVE" for his birthday. This show was AMAZING!! It's from the BBC channel, and this show was near the end of their worldwide tour...we will definitely go again if it comes back. Mason was SOOOOO excited to go and once the show started he sat on the edge of his seat and didn't make a sound. I was afraid that he might be terrified of those 'life-size' dinos, after all we were on like the 4th row. But the only sound he made was when he cried at intermission and at the end of the show...because he wanted to see more!! This show had simple, but amazing affects, every new dinosaur that came out would give me chills...anyways, here ya go...

Hard Rockin'

For Mason's birthday, my parents gave our little family tickets to see "Walking with the Dinosaurs: LIVE". I'll post pics of that too...but we took Mason to his first Hard Rock Cafe for lunch that day. Of course he was really excited to see the show...but he was also really excited to see all the guitars at Hard Rock. He loves guitars too (not as much as dinos), but mainly because his "Pa" (my dad) has LOTS of them and Mason thinks that's pretty neat. Anyways, the dino pics will come soon.

Dino-mite Birthday!!

WOW...I'm so far behind in my blog!! I just realized that I hadn't even put in Mason's 3rd birthday! I can't believe he's already THREE! The time has flown by...starting with my water breaking on 10/8/06 at ~6am and me going to work at the zoo anyways!! Hey, it was closer to the hospital, so hush! I wanted to eat my doughnut and get my Dr.Pepper in before it was too late!! Everyone at the zoo thought I was looney...Judson drove me to the hospital because they thought I couldn't make the 1 mile drive there...little did they know Mason wouldn't be born until freakin' midnight- so I was in labor ALLLLLLL day long-uggh! I wouldn't regret a single minute though, he definitely taught me a little patience along the way...which is hard to do when you have a Williams' temper :) Anyways- I could talk about Mason and his first three years forever!!

I just know that we are blessed to have such a wonderful loving son who has the sweetest heart and he loves everyone! He is always in good spirits and he is SO smart! He's a puzzle genius and can do 100+ puzzles in no time (with no help), he is already a gamer and can hang with Uncle Mase and his daddy when it comes to Mario! Mason is currently obsessed with all things dinosaur and Jurassic Park...he knows all the names of the dinos and can tell you what they eat and who they fight, he already knows more about them then I ever did (and remember I was a science major, with quite a bit of evolutionary study!) Alright, enough of him for now...he's needing me to fight with him on Smash Bros. on the Wii! Enjoy the pics from his party...

HALLOWEEN!!

Mason had lots of decisions for costumes this year! We went to Target as soon as ALL the new stuff was put out before Halloween and he got a few just to play "dress-up" with...yes, it's fine for boys to play "dress-up" too! He was able to dress up for Mother's Day Out and decided to go with Batman pajamas! So all the freakin' money I spent on costumes and the kid decides to wear a pair of PJ's he got for Christmas last year!! So anyways...he got Kaleb's mask and the one glove (who know where the other one is!!). I thought he made a cute 'old skool' Batman -

He decided to wear his T-Rex costume to Cason's birthday party though. The kids all dressed up for the party and then went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. Everyone was so cute, and Mason loved to go get all the candy from the neighbors.

- I just love this pic of my two men playing their DS's together. Notice that Mason has covered himself with a dish-towel, just so he'll be like daddy :)
I have a feeling that Mason is going to be a big gamer as time goes on...I'm not sure what to do about that. I thought he might be turning his brain to mush. But I've decided that if a 3 year old can work a 100+ piece puzzle ALONE in less than an hour (sometimes less than 30min) then the DS must not be frying to many brain cells...cause I know I can't sit down and do those puzzles that fast!! -


- here's my crazy 'Dinosaur Man'...my mom told him to go lay down for a nap and this is what she found! He REALLY REALLY loves dinosaurs!! -


- he was so quiet and I peeked around the corner to see him lining up ALL his dinosaurs...single file across the room, grouped by styles and sizes...just a little OCD coming out in him :) -


- yes, he's really asleep! This was one of those days where he fought me about a taking a nap...he refused to fold out his couch and insisted on laying like this, he was out in less than five minutes... so I guess we were both winners! :) -


- once again...yes, he's really sleeping!! He was taking a nap on the couch when I got home from work, he woke up to tell me hi and give me a kiss...then just passed out again right beside me!! I couldn't resist leaving him like that so I could take a pic, I eventually put him back on the couch (I'm not that mean!) He thinks this pic is hilarious and he cracks up laughing at himself whenever his sees it...he's actually tried to take a nap like this again, but just can't seem to fall asleep standing up (on purpose anyways)
