He loves me so much that he surprised me with flowers early for Valentine's Day. A student delivered them to my classroom in the morning, so everyone that came in after that was jealous!! I had a meeting in my room that day and everyone was jealous that they didn't get pretty flowers yet...I love him SOOOO much!

Game on, sucker!
Just sharing a few pics of my little 'gamer'. Yes, I know he's only three...but he's pretty awesome with the video games. Don't judge me :) He LOVES to play his video games and I must say that this is one of the few things that he 'gets' from me! He is SOOOO like his Uncle Mase when it comes to games. He's currently obsessed with Mario and Yoshi. If it makes you 'feel better' about my parenting skills...he's games are some-what educational. He's not playing those zombie or vampires, 'shoot 'em up' games. He's playing Mario, Diego and games where he even practices tracing lines and drawing. He knows that when his "Williams" temper comes out, that he's got to put it up...he knows to set an egg timer so that he's not on the couch ALL day playing...plus he's still got PLENTY of brain power to work his puzzles (he's up to 300 piece puzzles now!!) So judge all you want, but my kid is pretty freakin' smart :)
FYI: these pics were taken over the span of a few months, be be aware that the child seen here was not actually playing his video games 24 hours straight :)

When Dinosaurs ruled the Earth...
Finally, I've got time to post Dino pics from the show. Mason got tickets to "Walking with the Dinosars:LIVE" for his birthday. This show was AMAZING!! It's from the BBC channel, and this show was near the end of their worldwide tour...we will definitely go again if it comes back. Mason was SOOOOO excited to go and once the show started he sat on the edge of his seat and didn't make a sound. I was afraid that he might be terrified of those 'life-size' dinos, after all we were on like the 4th row. But the only sound he made was when he cried at intermission and at the end of the show...because he wanted to see more!! Anyways...the pics don't do justice (their fm Chris' phone), try checking out their website . This show had simple, but amazing affects, every new dinosaur that came out would give me chills...anyways, here ya go...
"long-neck" love...

these were my favorite (utahraptor)...they were JUST like Jurassic park, so real!

so pretty...

they trapped the baby T-rex...and Mama was SOOO not happy

sweet kisses...

Mama sniffing us, was right in our faces (literally)...

and I almost peed my pants!!

He gives the show "two-thumbs up" :)

Hard Rockin'
For Mason's birthday, my parents gave our little family tickets to see "Walking with the Dinosaurs: LIVE". I'll post pics of that too...but we took Mason to his first Hard Rock Cafe for lunch that day. Of course he was really excited to see the show...but he was also really excited to see all the guitars at Hard Rock. He loves guitars too (not as much as dinos), but mainly because his "Pa" (my dad) has LOTS of them and Mason thinks that's pretty neat. Anyways, the dino pics will come soon.
But first here's some pics of my "little Rock-star" :)
acting silly and hiding from the camera...

this one was his favorite, he said Pa needs one like this too (from ZZ Top)...

here's my boys headed back for the show...

The sun'll come up tomorrow...
I was blessed by a beautiful sunrise the other day...just wanted to share. There wasn't anything special about this day, just a Friday morning 'pit-stop' for breakfast and then off to my "wonderful" job of a high school science teacher. But on this morning I REALLY didn't want to go to work, didn't want to think about high school kids and all their drama, didn't want to even crawl out of bed to deal with life in general. But I'm glad I did because this was the view when I turned onto Hwy. 80. Yes I was driving while taking these pics, but that just shows I'm talented at mutli-tasking...plus not many folks on the road at 7am on a Friday morning. Anyways...seeing this sight made me open my eyes and be glad (yep I mean actually happy) that I have a job to go to, that I play an important role in a child's life, that I have money to spend on a 'super-Sonic' breakfast burrito and a Route44 vanilla Dr.Pepper...but mainly to realize that I am truly blessed to live another day on this Earth, to spend more time with the family I love more than anything...even if it means dealing with a drama-filled job!
