* WE MOVED!!! We have officially moved everything out of the old house and into the new, FINALLY! Without out the help of our parents that would NOT have been possible! So thanks to them. Cindy (Chris' mom) saved us lots of boxes, Curt and Mason (our dads) help in moving and then Cindy (my mom) cleaned the old house. Plus Hunter (Cheryl's son) came over and kept Mason company to keep him out trouble during the move :). I was amazed at how much CRAP we have!! I never would have thought that a family of three could have so much stuff...but I'm proud to say that I've purged quite a bit and have made a few trips to Goodwill lately. Anyways more on the house later...but here's a few pics...
* My MeMom Joyce (Williams) fell and broke her hip during the midst of all this drama. Last Friday while at Ace Hardware she was getting into her car and her ball of her hip simply just broke off, no tripping, no nothing...just a bone deciding it thought it was time to cause the most beautiful white haired women extreme pain in a public parking lot for the whole world to see for no reason what-so-ever-uggh! Anyways...see went on to have hip replacement surgery on Sat. and all went well with that. After one EKG, one unit of blood later and few REALLY low blood pressure spells all was well and was realized that she just normally has a really low baseline. She's now in re-hab and doing pretty well, just extremely tired due to all the exercising they have her doing. But she's keeping the family pretty busy with the many trips back and forth to Tyler, especially mom, who goes over daily.
* I passed my PPR with flying colors, so once I take Region VII a check for another freakin' $800 THEN I get to send in another check to the state to become a REAL teacher. Not sure if that's a good thing or not...now it's official and there's no turning back. We'll see how this year goes and make more decisions later.
* Mason has been wearing underwear ALL day the past few days!! Well, not at night, but all day long. We're still working on the pooping part, but we've got the tee-teeing in the potty down!!! Of course, he expects some sort of prize everytime he potties so somehow I've got to break that, but he's happy with a sucker so I can handle that. My next step is to get him to wear his underwear the right way...he insists on wearing them backwards so that HE can see the pictures that "should" be on his butt!
